Processing failure after upload of rda file

If you upload a .rda file and then subsequently when you try to Execute using that file as your input rda file and you receive a Fatal error with a message like "Error: ReadItem: unknown type 55, perhaps written by later version of R", this may be a problem with the uploaded file. These .rda files are binary files and it is recommended to try uploading the file again using an ftp tool like FileZilla.
