Question Alignment wisdom
Anyone knows who is the author of the poetry below? There is something Irish in it.

One amino acid sequence plays coy;
A pair of homologous sequences whisper;
Many aligned sequences shout out loud!

RE: Alignment wisdom
I found these words in a book titled Introduction to Bioinformatics. The author of the book is Arthur M. Lesk who wrote it while working at the University of Cambridge. It was published in 2002 but perhaps this quote has been around for much longer ??

RE: Alignment wisdom
I suspect that it was indeed longer, I've seen it in slides of old lectures without any attribution. But maybe indeed it was taken from this book.
