Hi

I was wondering if it were possible to have the Adenovirus 5 reference genome included in Ribogalaxy (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/nuccore/AC_000008.1).

Hi Jason,

We assume that your request regards the addition of bowtie indexes for the Adenovirus 5 reference genome in RiboGalaxy? We currently only provide bowtie indexes of genomes that are hosted on GWIPS-viz (http://gwips.ucc.ie) so that data from these genomes can be uploaded and visualised in GWIPS-viz.

If the genome is not yet in GWIPS-viz (as is the case with Adenovirus 5, the easiest is to upload the fasta file of your genome to your RiboGalaxy history and then select for bowtie indexes to be generated from your history.
